The team at ChronoDivers had a vote to determine which classic dive watches should inspire the next range. TWO watches received a great deal of support – the Rolex Submariner, in particular the Submariner Kermit and the Seiko SKX range.
Rather than make another direct Kermit homage we decided to step outside the box and combine these TWO iconic timepieces in to ONE watch. The result – the ChronoDivers CD200Kermit. Submariner Kermit Dial & Bezel colourway
The watch shown below is a Certified Authentic Rolex Submariner Kermit reference 16610LV. This watch was available on eBay under their Authenticity Guarantee scheme – more details here. We have stuck with the black dial and Mercedes styled hands but opted for the SKX shaped indexes.
Unlike the genuine Kermit we have used a green chapter ring with minute markers. The ceramic bezel on our watch is the same mid green. The result is a watch that has strong hints of Kermit (aka Starbucks) without being a direct copy as such. We applied the same parts procurement process to the CD200Kermit as we do to all the ChronoDivers dive watches. This process go across all products including the Seiko SKX homage and the WW2 Army Diver’s watch. Only the best components have been selected – parts that can withstand the marine environment. Each component has to be robust, reliable and – most importantly – affordable.

ChronoDivers aim was to produce a range of affordable dive watches encompassing quality and value for money. Every one of the ChronoDivers diver’s watches is powered by the bomb proof, super reliable Seiko NH35A automatic movement. They all includes features only normally found in more expensive brands like Sapphire crystals and 316L marine grade stainless cases with screwdown caseback and crowns. All ChronoDivers watches feature C3 lume on watch hands and all but the CD200SKX9 (Pepsi) feature Ceramic bezels. All this from JUST £99 – how? Because we sell DIRECT to the customer.
