For a company that was conceived in 2009 and produced it’s first watch in 2010 (the Flieger 47 Pilot watch) they have gone a very long way. This rapid success has been achieved by applying a fairly simple recipe – design a great product that’s 100% fit for purpose and sell it at a sensible price. Their watch range is designed around the three elements : AIR (Flieger) – LAND (Time Master) – SEA (Aquamarine). The logo you will find on the back of all Panzera watches is a Navigation Star paying tribute to the exploration of the Land, Air and Sea.
We’re going to focus on their SEA watches – a range of competent sea and dive watches that go under the collective name of Aquamarine.
Swiss made Aquamarine models
The headline grabbing SWISS made Panzera watches are the Aquamarine Swiss 40 – currently available in three colours – and the Aquamarine Swiss Chrono 45. These watches are painstakingly hand assembled in the Ticino region of Switzerland by master watchmakers. Each watch takes 7 days to assemble, test, regulate and certify before being individually serial numbered – ready for the new owner.

The To grab the attention of watch connoisseurs there are only certain words that succeed in grabbing people’s attention. One such word is the Swiss Movements brand of ETA. Inside the Aquamarine Swiss Chrono 45 you’ll find an ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement. That’s a movement used in such classics as the Rolex Daytona and several Omega, Breitling and IWC watches. With 25 Jewels beating out at 28,800 beats per hour the 7750 is a highly prestigious and trusted Swiss watch mechanisms.

The 316L marine grade stainless steel polished case with a contrasting brushed decagonal bezel is a signature feature of this brand. Aquamarine Swiss 40
The same drop dead styling as the Chrono 45 featured above the Panzera Aquamarine Swiss 40 is their Swiss made entry model. The same care and attention goes in to this watch – hand assembled by master watchmakers in Switzerland over 7 days of rigorous quality control, testing, regulating and certifying. For the Swiss 40 Panzera have looked to another iconic movement manufacturer – this time it’s Landeron – to be specific it’s the Landeron CAL.L24. If you’re not familiar with the name think of brands like Heuer, EDOX, and Glycine – all of which have featured Landeron movements in their watches.
Available in White – Black or Blue
Currently the Swiss 40 is available in three colour swatches – however – the customer can mix and match the different case styles with several bracelet / strap options. If you want the white dial version on a red rubber strap, that’s fine or the blue dial with a solid metal bracelet – also no problem. Their own website has a great configurator that allows the visitor to try out all possible combinations. Our favourite at ChronoDivers is the black dial with black rubber strap incorporating a smart yellow stitching pipe.

What about the DIVERS WATCHES
Keen eyed Dive Watch fans have probably noticed something’s astray here. Lovely though they are – neither of the watches featured above can be categorized as a true divers watch. Fear not – Panzera have a drop dead gorgeous dive watch – the Panzera Aquamarine 45 Pro Diver.
Aquamarine 45 Pro Diver
For reliability it’s been fitted with a robust and accurate mechanical Seiko automatic (self-winding) movement. Like the Longines Legend Diver it features an internal diving timer bezel. This is set using the dedicated crown – making it impossible to knock while diving as you can with a traditional external bezel. There’s also a new high luminosity resin applied to all the hands and indexes – now your dive time can be read even at the deepest, darkest depths underwater.
Underwater timepieces demand reliability. That’s why this watch is fitted with a robust Seiko automatic mechanical movement. Not only is the Pro Diver a competent and desirable dive watch it’s also a very versatile timepiece – wherever you wear it – office, bar or beach – it never looks out of place.

An introduction to the rest of their watches
We said in the introduction that Panzera focus on the three elements for their design inspiration – LAND – AIR and SEA. So far we’ve only really looked at the WATER. Below are a selection of their other products. From the WATER range we have the Panzera Ocean 45 and Compact Ocean 38. From the LAND range we have the Time Master 42. Finally – from their AIR collection -a couple of Panzera Flieger 46 Pilot watches including their automatic chronograph version in all black.

ChronoDivers Dive Watch Collection
ChronoDivers aim was to produce a range of affordable dive watches encompassing quality and value for money. Every one of the ChronoDivers diver’s watches is powered by the bomb proof, super reliable Seiko NH35A automatic movement. They all includes features only normally found in more expensive brands like Sapphire crystals and 316L marine grade stainless cases with screwdown caseback and crowns. All ChronoDivers watches feature C3 lume on watch hands and all but the CD200SKX9 (Pepsi) feature Ceramic bezels. All this from JUST £99 – how? Because we sell DIRECT to the customer.
DIY Watch Club Reviewed
For a similar price to a Panzera timepiece why not Build Your Own Divers Watch. The DIY Watch Club have a wide range of styles from Adventure to Pilot to Diver. They supply EVERYTHING you need to build your own high quality timepiece. Chose from a list of quality movements like the super reliable Seiko SII NH35A.
